St. Jude Trike-A-Thon
Dear Parents and Staff,
The St. Jude Trike-A-Thon is a week-long fundraising program that teaches kids riding-toy safety. As they learn the rules of the road, students can gather donations to support the work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We will be helping to ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for treatment, travel, housing, or food. St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. With our help St. Jude hopes to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90% in the next decade. This event will take place starting Monday, April 25th and will culminate in our Trike-A-Thon event on Friday, April 29th.
On the day of the event, you can bring a riding-toy such as a bicycle, tricycle, scooter, big wheel, pushing toy, etc... when you drop off your child at school. Please label both the riding toy and helmet. Please remember that if your child is riding on 2 wheels, they will need to bring a helmet. Click here to register for the event and to set up a donation page to share with your friends and family. You do not need to collect to participate in the event, but those that do will be eligible for prizes based on the amount raised. Please help us spread the word and collect donations for this great cause.
Thank you,
Adam Thewes, Director
